Back to Retirement!

A little over 2 1/2 years ago I accepted the offer to become the interim Executive Director of the Omaha Community Playhouse. A few weeks into the job, I dropped the Interim and stayed on as Executive Director. It was marvelous; the Playhouse celebrated its 100th Birthday and A Christmas Carol celebrated 50 years of making holiday magic.

It was never my desire to start a new career, and after 31 months, it seemed a good time to say “Au Revoir” to the busy schedule, and “Bonjour” to being retired … again!

I’m excited to return to a life of gardening, traveling, singing, quilting – and Noble Pairings. Along with blogs about wines and the foods that complement them, I’ll expand my wine tasting events.

Thank you all for subscribing to my site in the past! I hope you will take a look around and check out the food offerings for April. If you ordered something in the past and would like to get it again, please let me know. I’m happy to accommodate if at all possible.

Enjoy this beautiful spring weather! I hope to see you soon!

Please keep some time open for an evening out with an old friend😍. I’ll be anxious to learn if you’ll have new, wonderful offerings available and the cutest assistant (or delivery help)!

Good for you! I may do something part-time. I think it’s good to have somewhere to go and feel like you’re contributing to the world. There are so many these days who are doing their best to tear it down!
